It surpasses self-curing calcium hydroxide as a pulp protector due to its better mechanical properties..

Use: Fluid material for easy application at the base of the cavity below restorations of
composite or amalgam.
Provides better thermal insulation and protects the pulp from sensitivity to cold/heat.
